The principle of utilization of this device is based upon the capacity of a material to transform an ultraviolet radiation into a visible radiation.
This phenomenon is called "fluorescence".
This effect has particularly evidence if the visible component of the incident radiation is attenuated or suppressed using appropriate filters.

This lamp can be programmed for a functioning until 15 minutes.
